Sydney or Canberra Based, Full-time
Love taking wild thoughts and turning them into reality? Love executing big ideas and activations, using cutting-edge tech and innovation? Want to manage to meaningful projects end-to-end? We are a storytelling agency with a “can-do to the extreme” attitude that will go to the outer edges of space, deep into the outback, and into the roaring crowds of sporting stadiums to inspire and motivate.
We are looking for an experienced project manager to bring BIG ideas to life for our clients. House of Kitch is a small and dynamic agency that specialises in imaginative communications to inspire behaviour change on things that matter. We thrive on creating world-first experiences to inspire the next generation.
The perfect candidate will be an agile, methodical and organised project manager or event producer with a flair for event, design and video to wrangle big ideas to execution. The ability to stay across multiple projects and prioritise effectively is essential. A candidate with passion and expertise in guest/user experience will be highly regarded.
Duties and responsibilities:
Confidently executing, managing and analysing projects including events, activations, video products, design materials and workshops.
Developing systems, processes and standard standard operating procedures to create efficiencies.
Liaising with stakeholders, clients, graphic designers, print and merchandise suppliers, video production teams and content producers to develop compelling communications products to support projects.
Coordination of the production of merchandise, print materials and other physical items and management of supplier and partner relationships.
Developing event plans, project management plans, monitoring budgets, and reporting.
Preparing project concepts, storyboards, project and approval briefs.
Creation and ownership of project plans, event schedules, staff briefing documents, risk assessments.
Contribute to the creative production and ideation process.
Project management and event management skills are essential for this role. A candidate with graphic design (Indesign & Illustrator) and video editing skills (Premiere Pro or similar) would be highly regarded, but these are not essential requirements. This is a 12-month full time contract with opportunity for ongoing work for candidates with 4+ years experience in a similar role. As House of Kitch is based in Bondi Junction but with a number of clients in Canberra, this opportunity is open to candidates based either in Sydney or in Canberra and will require the ability to travel interstate as needed.
We’d love to hear from you! To discuss the opportunity, please reach out to Johnathon Ryan-Parker via email@example.com.
